(1) The requirement of the lithium battery drying room laboratory


The moisture content in the lithium battery material is one of the main sources of moisture in the cell, and the higher the ambient humidity, the easier it is for the battery material to absorb moisture in the air. Conversely, the better the environmental humidity control, the more limited the battery material's ability to absorb moisture from the air. There is a recommended humidity control ladder for a lithium battery production workshop (for reference only, the humidity control is operated according to the actual situation of each battery company): 
Relative humidity ≦ 30% workshop (such as stirring, coating machine head, machine tail, etc.) 
Relative humidity ≦ 20% workshop (such as rolling, filming, baking, etc.) 
Relative humidity ≦ 10% workshop (such as lamination, winding, assembly, etc.) 
Dew point temperature ≦ -45℃ workshop (such as cell baking, liquid injection, sealing, etc.) 
Even with the above humidity gradient control, it is necessary to control the residence time of the process. 

The lithium battery drying room is to control the humidity of the environment in the lithium battery production line environment.

(2) Composition and principle of lithium battery drying room laboratory

1. The general drying room is composed of thermal insulation, maintenance structure, dehumidifier, air conditioner, air duct and process pipeline.
2. Principle: The fresh air passes through the surface cooler to cool the fresh air to 10°C, condenses most of the water, and then mixes with the 90° return air and enters the drying runner. The regeneration activation zone takes away the moisture absorbed by the runner and discharges it to the outside. Finally, it is cooled by the rear surface cooler, and the temperature is controlled at 15~21ºC and sent to the drying room. After a certain period of continuous cooling, drying and dehumidification, the humidity in the drying room can be reduced to below 2%.

(3) Key points of design control of lithium battery drying room laboratory

1. The influence of the temperature and humidity of the outside environment. In summer, the outside fresh air is high temperature and high humidity air, which requires the Make up air evaporator to provide a large cooling capacity. Day and night, rainy and sunny days, changes in seasons, etc. have a big impact.
2. Air balance in the drying room: positive pressure, exhaust, etc.;
3. Control of personnel in the drying room and control of heating equipment;
4. Temperature control of regeneration air;
5. The use of chemicals in the drying room may affect the efficiency of the drying wheel.
